Hoy se ha celebrado el Día de convivencia del Mayor con música en directo y comida para los asistentes

El Pabellón de Deportes de La Aceña ha acogido este jueves el Día del Mayor, la tradicional convivencia entre centros de Puerto y Mazarrón organizada por la Concejalía de Festejos del Ayuntamiento de Mazarrón con motivo de las Fiestas Patronales.

Durante la jornada se han celebrado diferentes conciertos de la Coral del Centro de Día de Personas Mayores de Mazarrón y del Coro Rociero del Centro de Día de Personas Mayores de Puerto de Mazarrón, tras ello se ha llevado a cabo la elección de la Reina de la Tercera Edad cuyo título ha recaído en María de los Ángeles Martínez y el Míster de la Tercera Edad Ricardo Martínez, llevado a cabo por sorteo y a los que el alcalde de Mazarrón Gaspar Miras y el Concejal de Festejos Miguel Ángel Peña han hecho entrega de unos detalles y la banda de Reina y Míster. Para finalizar los voluntarios de las Asociaciones municipales han recibido un detalle por parte del Alcalde y los Concejales del Equipo de Gobierno.

Al evento amenizado con música en directo han asistido también los Concejales del Equipo de Gobierno Ginés Campillo, Plácida Gómez, Tomás Ureña, Raquel Raja, Silvia García, Francisco José García y José María Moreno, que ha podido disfrutar de un día de convivencia y alegría rodeado de amigos.
